This morning I taught the weather, how to ask it and how to reply to the question in english.
It was very funny because it wasn't the usual and boring lesson, it was a play-lesson.

Stamani ho insegnato il tempo, le condizioni climatiche in inglese.
E' stato divertente, in quanto non è stata la solita lezione noiosa e frontale, anzi abbiamo fatto
una attività ludica, che a mio avviso è stata più efficace di tutte le altre.
Vediamo quali sono i materiali che ho utilizzato.
Flashcards: sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy & snowy.
How can I use flashcards? In a various way. Let's see.
I can use them for consolidating the vocabulary, for introducing the topic and for playing.
Games with flashcards:
memory (all way)
Q&A
Capture the flag
Find & touch
Find and say the name and so on...
Capture the flag is game that kids enjoy the most, especially when they're little, I'm talking about kids who have 6 or 7 years old, but I think even the oldest would appreciate and enjoy this game.
So, you can apply this game to all the ages. The outcomes are always positive.
At the end I made a sheet called "What's the weather like?" Children have to look outside the windows and see how's the weather, after that they have to put the corresponding flashcards on the sheet.
And the work's done. :)

Ho utilizzato prettamente le flashcards, sia con le immagini raffigurate che con il testo scritto, le quali le ho usate per giocare a ruba bandiera. Gioco che ha fatto divertire tantissimo i bambini e hanno imparato con più naturalezza il vocabolario inerente il tempo (clima).
Le flashcards si possono usare in numerosi modi, vediamo quali:
domanda e risposta,
per introdurre un argomento,
per consolidare,
per giocare a memory,
per giocare a ruba bandiera.
Vedete voi quale modalità è più opportuna da usare in classe. :)
Ricordatevi che l'importante è che i bambini apprendano in un clima sereno e anche divertente.
L'inglese, insegnato in modo frontale e statico, ANNOIA. Invece, l'apprendimento di una lingua straniera deve affascinare e divertire, ma a questo sta a noi insegnanti.
Vedrete poi che i risultati ci saranno. :)
Al termine dell'attività ho attaccato il cartellone inerente l'argomento. Cosa devono fare i bambini con questo cartellone? Semplice.
Ogni mattina, uno di loro, incaricato dall'insegnante, viene chiamato a mettere la flashcard che corrisponde alla condizione climatica della giornata.
Ovviamente dovrà dire la risposta, per esempio "It's sunny, today" .
Vedrete che si divertiranno e continueranno a usare il vocabolario e ad acquisire una certa fluency con la lingua.
